For most of my professional and personal life, I have been in service to others, whether problem solving or using my own life experiences to advise and guide, formally and informally; even when times in my own life were extremely challenging personally or professionally. I have made time to help others. Life happens and I have lived a lot of life, not always meeting my goals when I wanted to, yet keeping on, not giving up or giving in, learning valuable sustainable lessons along the way. Sometimes with the help of wonderful people who stood with me, and sometimes just on my inner strength, courage and perseverance.
I hold a masters degree in Human Resources Organization Development (MHROD) from the University of San Francisco. I earned both degrees as a working divorced parent of two. I have worked in the HR field for over 20 years. My life coaching certification is through the Fowler International Academy of Professional Coaching. My specialty certification in Recovery Coaching (CPRC) is through the NET Institute Center for Addiction and Recovery Education. The NET Institute is recognized world -wide for its addiction and sobriety advocacy, training, and thought leadership. I am affiliated with the International Association of Recovery Coaches (IAPRC).
My Approach
“Step by Step Leads to Big Actions”
My approach is to always look forward, do what you can do right now, take even small steps toward even bigger leaps. I pledge to help my clients get “unstuck” from the behaviors that through the use of resilience, grit, and confidence building done through building on the strengths that are already within you. You are not alone, we all have something that we are working on. Sometimes you just need someone standing beside you, cheering you on, guiding you to see and be the person you always wanted to be.
